Our Kids’ Stories

Every day, we work with children from hard places.  We are often asked how we can bear to hear about the abuse and suffering.  Perhaps it is because we also see and hear the inspiring stories of kids overcoming adversity, healing from their trauma and succeeding despite the challenges they face.   more

New Year, New Classes

  • Prevention Classes – new dates have been set for our free child abuse prevention classes for adults more
  • CASA Volunteer Training – our next class for new CASA volunteers will begin on March 5.  If you are interested in becoming a CASA, now is the time to start your application and background checks.  more
  • Courage Group – a new support group for women who were sexually abused as children will start on April 23, 2015.  more
