Fannin County Children’s Center is seeking full time mental health professional to provide crisis counseling, as well as individual, group and family therapy for victims of physical and sexual abuse/assault.
Candidates must be licensed in the State of Texas as an LPC, LPC Associate, LCSW or LMFT.
Prefer experience and training in working with trauma, especially with children, teens and parents. Excellent verbal & written communication skills are needed. Ability to work well with children, families and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team. We are seeking a dedicated, dependable, organized and flexible team player. Must have clear background checks.
Flexible scheduling options and the ability to work in evenings. Must adhere to Code of Ethics and maintain confidentiality. Must be computer proficient and able to administer and score assessments. Must be willing to testify in court. Must have TF-CBT training or be able to complete. Experience in play therapy, EMDR, CPT, or DBT a plus.
Salary range $40,000 – $47,000, depending on experience. Free Supervision by LPC-S if needed. Paid sick, vacation, and holiday time. Health and dental insurance after 30 days of employment. Retirement benefit after one year of employment.
