Justice Is Served

Save the Date JIS 2021Our 17th annual Justice Is Served will be a four day, hybrid event with both in-person and virtual elements, as explained below.  As always, proceeds from this fun event will ensure that a wide array of support services are available to help children, youth and families recover from abuse and neglect.

Masquerade Ball: Live Auction & Dinner

  • Join us for a Masquerade Ball on Saturday, Nov 13 at the Complex in Bonham!
  • Doors will open at 6 pm.
  • Buffet dinner will be served up by local judges, police chiefs and other justice officials.
  • Live auction will be led by Auctioneer Randolph McGee
  • Bidders for the live auction must purchase a ticket or table to attend the event in order to bid on live auction items.
  • Guests are encouraged to dress for a masquerade ball! Dress up – cocktail dresses, sparkles, feathers, ties and tuxes are all strongly encouraged, as well as masks of all kinds.  But most important to us is that you feel comfortable, so starched jeans, boots, etc. are just fine too!

 Baked Good Auction

  • Auction opens at 9:00 am on Wednesday, Nov 10.
  • Auction closes at 5:15 pm on Wednesday, Nov 10.
  • Bidding will be online only. Bidders will place their bids using a phone, tablet or computer.
  • Winners can pick up their items at the Children’s Center on Wednesday, Nov 10 from 5:15 pm to 7:00 pm or on Thursday and Friday (Nov 11 & 12) from 8:00 – 5:00 pm.

 Silent On-line Auction

  • Auction opens at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, Nov 10.
  • Auction closes at 9:00 pm on Saturday, Nov 13.
  • Items will be on display at the Masquerade Ball (in-person event) at the Complex on Saturday evening.
  • Bidding will be online only.  Bidders will place their bids using a phone, tablet or computer.
  • Bidders can attend the event in-person or not.
  • Winners can pick up their items at the Complex on Saturday evening or at the center on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 pm or during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8 am to 5 pm).
  • Many items can also be shipped to the winner.  If item can be mailed in a standard envelope with one stamp, the center will cover the mailing costs.  Winner pays shipping costs for larger items.
