WalMart - Wal-Mart Manager Gene Cox presents a check for $1,000 to Sandy Barber, Executive Director of the Fannin County Children’s Center. The funds come from the matching grant program at WalMart. Store employees volunteered their time to work at the Grape Stomp fundraiser for the Children’s Center. WalMart corporation matched their employee’s gift of time and effort with this financial contribution. The gift will be used to sustain the programs the center.
First Baptist Church of Bonham - Kudos to the Sunday School class led by Ray & Gloria Campbell at First Baptist Church of Bonham. Around twenty adults and a few youth gave up their Saturday morning to give the Children’s Center a good, deep cleaning inside and out. They set to work right away to clean, vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, mow, trim, pull weeds, and disinfect toys and more. We appreciate their time, energy and efforts to keep our center looking good!

Brookshire's - Brookshire’s Manager Charles Herpeche recently presented a check for $2,000 to the Children’s Center. Brookshire’s has been a faithful supporter of our agency for several years in a row. We certainly appreciate their gifts which have helped to sustain our programs for children.
First United Methodist Church of Leonard has been a huge supporter of our agency for several years. They collected more than 80 short sets for the Rainbow Rooms at their Vacation Bible School in 2006. The Women’s Mission group donated numerous gifts cards in September 2006 and tons of toys, clothing and other presents for the last couple of Christmas Drives. Several members have helped wrap gifts too. We are truly blessed to have such a dedicated and generous group as our partner.
Chi Lambda has been a generous supporter of our agency since we got our start in 1993. They were the first organization to grant us funding and we appreciate their vote of confidence and support over the years. We are grateful to this group of women who’s annual auction raises thousands of dollars each year for many different children’s programs within our community. |
