Hope Chest Collectibles Gives to Kids
Hope Chest Collectibles and the Fannin County Children’s Center are teaming up again during the month of April to benefit abused and neglected children. A portion of the April sales in 2010 at Hope Chest will be donated to the Children’s Center in recognition of Child Abuse Awareness Month.
Barbara Hope, owner of Hope Chest Collectibles, is a former board member of the Children's Center who recently completed a three year term of office. “This is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart,” said Hope. “I thought this would be a way I could help the children of our community.”
The store sells a variety of candles including ones made by Tyler, Yankee and Woodwick. They have lots of unique and fashionable jewelry, shoes and fashion, including Yellow Box Shoes, One Sole Shoes and Vocal T-shirts. They also carry collectibles, gift cards, seasonal and home decorative items including Webkinz, Willow Tree, Authur Court and Jim Shore.
The Children’s Center's Executive Director, Sandy Barber said “We are thrilled with this opportunity for our supporters to help us out when they buy items for birthdays, showers, graduation and other special occasions at Hope Chest Collectibles. We also appreciate the generosity of Barbara, Jeri and Cindy in partnering with us in this way to benefit our kids.”
Hope Chest Collectibles is open Monday through Saturday from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm. They are located at 901 West Sam Rayburn in Bonham. For more information, call (903) 640-0009 or go to www.hopechestcollectibles.com.
